Position: Kitchen Supervisor

Location: Hotel Aashray Inn, Laxmi Mall, Shri Shakti Road, Hubli

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams.
• Maintain highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety as per FSSAI norms.
• Supervise KST staff and ensure adherence to SOPs and cleaning schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and ensure timely preventive maintenance.
• Manage kitchen stocks, consumables, and non-consumables effectively.
• Prepare and verify daily indent sheets based on requirements and consumptions.
• Coordinate with store department for inventory replenishment.
• Train staff on hygiene and safety protocols.
• Assist in wastage management when required.
• Maintain strong coordination with the service team, including barking for dispatching ready items promptly to the tables to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts is a plus.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, stock management, and hygiene protocols.
• Excellent leadership skills — must be assertive yet professional.
• Eye for detail with commitment to quality and cleanliness.
• Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure during peak hours.
• Familiar with basic maintenance checks for kitchen equipment and coordination with service vendors.
• Computer literacy for maintaining records, indents, and reports (Excel or POS knowledge is a plus).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
